Early in the morning, I take a local train from Matsumoto Station on the JR Chuo East Line and arrive at Otsuki Station. This is the fourth trip of Seishun 18 Ticket. If you look at the direction of Kofu Station from kosenkyo bridge at Otsuki Station, there is the Fuji Kyuko Line on the left. Otsuki Station has passed many times when I go to Tokyo, but this is my first time to get off.

I get off at Gekkoji Station before one of Fujisan Station. The platform is decorated with two pale colors, and it has an atmosphere that is not so much in Japan. Since it is a station close to Fuji Gakuen High School, the station staff may have devised it so that it would be liked by young people.
富士山駅の一つ前の月江寺駅で下車。ホームに立つと2色の中間色に彩られた日本の駅舎にない雰囲気だ。富士学苑高校の最寄り駅なので、若い高校生に好まれるように意識しているのかもしれない。
