Yanaba Station at the highest point of the Oito Line = altitude 827meters, logcabin style building.  You can see Lake Nakatsuna from the station.　

大糸線の最高地点の簗場駅＝標高827㍍は、ログハウス風の駅舎。すぐ目の前には中綱湖の湖面が広がっている。

Lake Nakatsuna is in the middle of three lakes called "Nishina Sanko" Lakes.  It is a small lake of around ２kilometers.  There are people fishing fish in the lake, and it is also possible to ride a bicycle around the lake.

姫川の源流とされる場所はひっそりと静かに佇んでいる。ここから新潟県の日本海までの全長58㎞が姫川になる。途中、白馬連峰から源を発する平川・松川と合流し小谷の渓谷を流れて行く。この水たちは確実に白馬盆地の田園や川沿いの暮らしを潤していく。
