Pottering of a bicycle in Aomori (Iwate). Vol.４

Tanesashi Coast is a rare lawn beach.  It is in good condition.  How far does the lawn last?  I can go to the water's edge, but people who swim in the sea may think that they are suspicious.
種差海岸は芝生に覆われた珍しい海岸だ。よく整備もされている。芝生はどこまで続くのか。海際がどうなっているのか気になるところだが、怪しまれるので行かない。

No matter how well, I was, the road would be a slope, so I decided to put my bicycle on the train from Tanesashi Kaigan Station.  Approximately 18 kilometer from downtown Hachinohe to here.  I came slowly, so I can still ride my bicycle, but don't underestimate the heat of summer.  And food and scenery or railroad photos. A gentle trip that includes these is my basic style.

A Local train bound for Kuji Station arrives at Tanesashi Kaigan Station about 3 minutes later than the scheduled time.  I was worried because there was no station announcement, but the train came suddenly.  Perhaps a young man who likes the Hachinohe Line is taking pictures.

種崎海岸駅には定刻より３分ほど遅れて久慈駅行きの普通列車が入線する。駅のアナウンスがなかったので心配したが、車両が突然やって来る。おそらく八戸線に魅せられた若者が同じく写真に収めている。

This train can open the windows.  It is allowed because it is an old vehicle without air conditioning.  I push the window lock and raise the window as much as I can.  As soon as the wind blows, I feel nostalgic.  Sometimes there is a sound of leaves hitting the vehicle.
久しぶりに窓を全開できる喜びに浸る。冷房などない昔ながらの車両だから許される。窓戸錠を推しながら目一杯押し上げる。とたんに風が流れ入り懐かしさに包まれる。時々葉っぱが車両に当たる音がする。

You can see the sea on the left from the area past Shukunohe Station.  The high school student who was sitting just got off at the station, so I don't hesitate to take pictures.  I also wait for a photo opportunity while thinking the waves are high.
宿戸駅を過ぎた辺りから左側の車窓に海が映る。座っていた高校生がちょうど降りたので遠慮なくカメラを構える。相変わらず波が高いと思いながらシャッターチャンスを待つ。

In addition I sit on the other side and take pictures of the train vehicles and the coast.  Indeed, when you get on the rearmost car, you can take a picture of the train vehicles in a curved place.  However, it is also a condition that the window can be opened.

さらに反対側に座って車両と海岸を写す。なるほど最後尾に乗るとカーブで列車を入れた写真が撮れることを認識する。しかしそれも窓を開けられることが条件だ。

Arrived at Kuji Station.  In the back of the photo, there is a Sanriku Railway train base, and next to it,I can see the hotel where I will stay from now on.  I made a reservation because it is close to the station, but there is no ticket gate at the east exit, so you have to go around.
久慈駅に到着。写真奥には三陸鉄道の車両が停留され、その隣には本日宿泊するホテルが見える。駅から近いこともあり予約したが、東口には改札はなくまわり道をしなければ辿り着けない。

The specialty of Sanriku Railway Kuji Station is the Uni Bento of Rias Tei .  Now you have to make a reservation to buy it.  The lady of the shop which I saw on TV seems to be busy cooking.  There are various kinds of souvenirs on the premises of the station, and tourists are wondering what to buy.

三陸鉄道久慈駅の名物といえば、リアス亭のうに弁当。今や予約しないと買えない。テレビなどで紹介されているおばちゃんはどうやら準備に余念がなくこちらに顔を見せることはない。駅の構内には様々なお土産が置かれ、観光客が品定めをしている。

I don't go around the filming location because I wasn't interested in the TV program "Ama-chan".  Besides, I don't have a place I want to go to in Kuji.  It would have been nice to go to the sea if it was close to the port, but I feel somehow unnui and I check in early.  I bought sake and snacks at a nearby supermarket and will have a party alone.  High school baseball and world track and field are being broadcast on television, and I alternate channels.

「あまちゃん」に興味があって久慈を訪れた訳ではないので、ロケ地巡りなどはしない。さりとて久慈で行きたい観光地がある訳でもない。港が近ければ、海に出ても良かったが何となく面倒で、早々とチェックイン。近くのスーパーで酒とつまみを買い込み一人宴会へ。テレビの高校野球と世界陸上のチャンネルを交互に替えながら寛ぐ。
