Marine Dream Nou has "Kaniya-Yokocho" street that sells red crab.  There are about 10 shops of directly operated by crab fishing vessels, and you can hear voices of vigorous sellers.  There is a place where crabs can be eaten on the spot, and the washroom is neatly equipped.

In the vicinity of JR Urahama Station, Hokuriku main line and National route 8 run parallel again.  Cross the National route by the signal in front of the station and get out to the Sea of Japan.  The immediate other side of the sign becomes the sea.
JR浦本駅手前で、北陸本線と国道8号が再び並走する。駅前の信号から国道を横断し、日本海側に出る。案内板のすぐ向こうが海になる。


The Uramoto fishing port is a small fishing port, however the caught fish is called "Uramoto brand", and it seems to have a high reputation for the fishermen concerned.  The fish caught in this fishing port was also used as a material for sushi restaurants in Matsumoto City.
浦本漁港は、小さな漁港だがここで捕れる魚は「浦本ブランド」と称され、漁業関係者には評判が高いようだ。この漁港で獲れた魚を松本市の寿司屋でもネタにしていた。

Pottering report of a bicycle in Japan

I carry a bicycle by train, bus,airplane with me. This is called “Rinko” in Japanese. I would like to introduce various places in Japan starting from Matsumoto City while hanging around by bicycle.
