Katsunuma budoukyo Station, where I had been thinking about going to the cherry blossom season.  I traveled after confirming that the Internet was in full bloom.  The period of "Seishun 18 Ticket" has already ended, however since it is a trip that has plenty of time, I take the local train.  The train on Sunday is empty, and i sit alone in a four-seat box seat.  I look blankly at the scenery outside the window while listening to FM radio.

信州では、先週訪れた飯田市が７分咲きのようだが、松本や諏訪地区ではもう少し時間が必要のようで景色に色気がない。やがてFM長野からFM富士に切り替えても、標高881㍍の小淵沢駅辺りは標高が高いため桜の花の気配がない。しかし新府駅＝標高約446㍍辺りから桜色の姿が現し、甲府駅＝標高275㍍に隣接する舞鶴城公園の桜はすでに葉桜になっている。果たして勝沼ぶどう郷駅＝標高約487㍍ はどうか。ホームに降り立つと、そんな不安はすぐに吹き飛んだ。

The cherry blossoms around the station are in full bloom.  To be exact, it is beginning to fall a little.  However, it is a wonderful cherry tree. The Kofu Basin and the Southern Alps can be clearly seen on the other side of the flowers in full bloom.  I forget that time passes and i keep looking at this beautiful scenery.
駅周辺の桜はまさに満開。いや正確にいえば、やや散り始めの頃だ。しかし、見事な桜で、満開の桜花越しに甲府盆地と南アルプスがくっきりと浮かぶ。この美しい景色に、時が過ぎ行くのを忘れ眺め続けてしまう。

Many tourists are staying on the platform.  Surprisingly, there are many trains coming and going, so tourists take pictures of trains every time.  On the platform near Enzan Station, you can take beautiful pictures of cherry blossoms and trains, so Railway enthusiasts will not leave.  It's like a photographer chasing a celebrity scandal.
ホームには、たくさんの観光客が、私と同じように駅から離れられずにいる。頻繁に上下線の電車が通るため、そのたびに一斉にカメラを構える。塩山駅寄りのホームの端は、人が入らずに桜と電車をカメラに収めることができるためなのか、撮り鉄たちが群がって離れない。まるで芸能人をスキャンダルを追う報道陣のようである。

I also imitate them and challenge railway photography from a distance.  Railway photos are unexpectedly difficult, and you must predict where the train will come from the beginning.  Surprisingly, the train is fast, so it takes experience to take photos at what timing.  I'll wait for the next train to come, hoping to take a better picture.  I spend a lot of time here doing that, however none of the Railway enthusiasts leave the platform.  They will continue to take pictures until they are satisfied.  It's like the person who waits single-mindedly to catch the fish of the big thing somewhere.

私も彼らを真似て、遠巻きに鉄道写真にチャレンジする。鉄道写真は案外難しく、電車の来る位置を始めから計算しアングルを決めておかなければならない。意外にも電車の速度は速いので、どのタイミングでシャッターを切るのかはそれなりの経験が必要だ。次はもっといい写真が撮れるはずと、つい次の電車を待つことに。そんなことを繰り返し、随分とここで時間を費やすが、ついに彼らは誰一人ホームの端から離れることはない。おそらく納得がいくまで次の電車を待つのだろう。それは、どこか大物を釣り上げようとする釣り人に似ているようでもある。
